| BTP Standard Hinged Knee SupportA 13" long, ¼" thick sleeve with a patellar cut-out, movable horseshoe buttress and two 180 fixed hinges sealed in a protective layer of enlightened rubber. It also includes two 2" hook and loop straps above and below the patellar opening for additional stability and support.
The buttress is attached by Velcro and can be moved to the superior, inferior, lateral or medial positions. It can also be trimmed to a crescent for a more customized fit.
Our knee supports are manufactured from DermaDry, a neoprene like material that combines breath ability, durability, stretch and compression. This material actually wicks moisture though the brace away from the skin while keeping just the right amount of soothing warmth in the soft muscle tissues. A flame lamination process is used in manufacturing, eliminating the industrial adhesives that other braces use, a known cause of contact dermatitis.
Other features include special contouring, sonically welded opposing straps, genuine Velcro and 100% consistency in sizing.
Our felt buttresses can be trimmed for a customized fit and are attached by velcro allowing them to be moved to the superior, inferior, lateral, or medial positions.
