Through several thousand years of clinical experience, the therapeutic applications of cupping have been documented. By creating suction and negative pressure, cupping is used to:

Anita Shannon has been licensed in Massage Therapy and Cosmetology since 1983. She has presented topics at national conferences and regional conventions since 1993, and co-founded Advanced Continuing Education in2001. Anita appeared as a co-host for four years on "Health Options Today" with Dr. Mitchell Ghen on WGGS TV. She currently maintains a private practice in massage and skincare and provides national continuing education.
