<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">Reflexology is the ancient art of using
the charkas in the feet to keep bodily organs and functions running at optimum performance.
The <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Pic/REFLEXOLOGY_CARD_2_SET.JPG">chakra system</a> is
made up of 7 energy points beginning with the sacrum, and ending at the crown of the
head.  This neurological energy system corresponds with specific places on the
feet, and can be activated when a trained reflexologist massages the feet at precise
corresponding points.  <br /><br />
Reflexology has other benefits, besides activating energy points in the body. It originated
in Chinese medicine, yet it has been popular in the West for many years. Reflexologists
specialize in massaging different points on the feet and hands for a multitude of
positive effects. Reflexology is used to improve circulation, increase metabolism,
and reduce strain on the heart and other bodily organs.  The practice of reflexology
is also a great way to purge toxins from the blood and organs.  <br /><br />
Like massage and other bodywork, when reflexology is employed on a regular basis it
can have a great overall impact on the body and its performance level.  Reflexology
is a practical alternative health treatment that complements all kinds of other holistic
health practices including acupuncture, massage therapy, chiropractic, cranio sacral
and yoga therapy.   <br /><br /><b>Live Holistically: Reflexology Natural Health Products   </b><br /><br /><i><b>Learn Holistic Health Principles with Reflexology Charts

correspond to which bodily organs and functions, a <a temp_href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/ProductInfo.aspx?rainbow-coded-reflexology-mini-chart-set&amp;number=35-203 " href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/ProductInfo.aspx?rainbow-coded-reflexology-mini-chart-set&amp;number=35-203%20">color
coded reflexology chart</a> will reveal the places where reflexology massage can have
the desired impact. Throughout the world reflexology has been considered a natural
health solution for any number of health imbalances. In order to achieve success one
must fully understand the relationship between the reflexology points and the organ
functions precisely.<br /><br /><i><b>Promote Natural Healing at Home, Wear Reflexology Sandals</b></i><br /><br /><div align="center"><img src="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Pic/REFLEXOLOGY_SANDALS_93-230.JPG" /><br /><br /></div><a temp_href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Search.aspx?searchfield=reflexology+sandals&amp;x=23&amp;y=7 " href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Search.aspx?searchfield=reflexology+sandals&amp;x=23&amp;y=7%20">Reflexology
sandals</a> are designed to highlight the impact of pressure on one or more of the
68 points on the feet that directly correspond with a specific area or location on
the body. They’re an economic and convenient way to stimulate the reflexology points
without even leaving the home. Some have reported increased energy levels after wearing <a temp_href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/ProductInfo.aspx?foot-reflexology-sandals&amp;number=93-230 " href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/ProductInfo.aspx?foot-reflexology-sandals&amp;number=93-230%20">reflexology
sandals</a> for many days per week and several weeks in a row.  Others have noticed
that they are easier to wear if the feet are introduced to them in smaller time intervals,
such as five to ten minutes, at first. After getting used to the <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/ProductInfo.aspx?foot-reflexology-sandals&amp;number=93-230">reflexology
sandals</a>, they can be worn for longer intervals of time.    <br /><br />
For best results, do not wear <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Search.aspx?searchfield=reflexology+sandals&amp;x=23&amp;y=7">reflexology
sandals</a> all of the time.  Instead, use the sandals for selected intervals
of time, say 10-20 minutes.  Wear reflexology sandals on a regular basis.
Just wearing them will help stimulate the points where the most work is desired. The
sandals can be customized with modules that focus on specific points on the feet.
Once the areas are selected, the stimulation occurs there.   <br /><br /><b>Reflexology Sandals: Affordable Natural Health Products for the Home<br /><br /></b>According to reflexologists, paying attention to <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/ProductInfo.aspx?foot-reflexology-sandals&amp;number=93-230">foot
problems</a> helps to restore balance in the rest of the body, leading to better health.
Many people can benefit from wearing <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/ProductInfo.aspx?foot-reflexology-sandals&amp;number=93-230">reflexology
sandals</a> on a regular basis. Anyone suffering from tired and achy feet can easily
spend fifteen minutes to a half hour relaxing and rejuvenating them after a long day.
And, if you experience problems in other areas of the body you may find that the activation
of reflexology points can provide <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/ProductInfo.aspx?foot-reflexology-sandals&amp;number=93-230">relief
from chronic lower back pain, neck and shoulder pain, muscle fatigue</a> and more.
<br /><br /><a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/ProductInfo.aspx?foot-reflexology-sandals&amp;number=93-230">Reflexology
sandals</a> are only around $25.  They’re a great way to treat yourself or a
loved one in need of <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/ProductInfo.aspx?foot-reflexology-sandals&amp;number=93-230">natural
pain relief</a> or an alternative health boost. Many people throughout history have
used reflexology effectively in their health care routines. So, why not try a pair
of <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/ProductInfo.aspx?foot-reflexology-sandals&amp;number=93-230">reflexology

<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">According to the American Podiatric Medical
Association (APMA) web site’s list of the Top 10 Foot Problems Achilles Tendinitis,
Bunions, Hammertoe, Heel Spurs, Ingrown Toenails, Neuromas, Plantar Faciitis, Sesamoiditis,
Shin Splints and Stress Fractures are the most commonly treated conditions.
Many of these foot conditions not only affect the feet but also cause <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Search.aspx?searchfield=powerstep&amp;x=0&amp;y=0">chronic
lower back pain, neck pain and muscle pain</a>. In many cases <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Search.aspx?searchfield=powerstep&amp;x=0&amp;y=0">natural
pain relief</a> can be achieved through the use of the right orthotics, which are
a proven and viable alternative to surgery or pain medications.    <br /><br />
If you suffer from serious foot conditions and are searching for quality orthotics
to provide natural pain relief there are many options for you to consider.  <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Search.aspx?searchfield=powerstep&amp;x=0&amp;y=0">Orthotics</a> range
from popular over the counter items to expensive, custom made therapy products.
Prices start as low as $20 and can go as high as $500.  So how do you know which
orthotics to buy and how can you tell which products are quality and will last?
Here are a few tips!<br /><br /><b>Test the Effectiveness of Over the Counter Orthotics First</b><br /><br />
Prior to investing in costly custom orthotics research and test more affordable, over
the counter products.  If one of the many quality over the counter orthotics
on the market facilitates pain relief you will save both time and money.  There
are few products worth a investigating before you decide on a more expensive solution.

products</a>, raves about the <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Search.aspx?searchfield=powerstep&amp;x=0&amp;y=0">Powerstep
orthotics</a>. “Most consumers do not understand the difference between custom orthotics
that cost $250 to $500 and over the counter products like Powerstep that provide a
quality fit for only $19 to $34,” states Maroney, “<a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Search.aspx?searchfield=powerstep&amp;x=0&amp;y=0">Powerstep
orthotics</a> are an excellent alternative to test because if they don’t work they
have a 30 day money back guarantee, a customer can’t lose by trying the product at
least once.”  According to Maroney in ten months of sales not one pair of <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Search.aspx?searchfield=powerstep&amp;x=0&amp;y=0">Powerstep
orthotics</a> have been returned.  On the contrary customers return to buy multiple

pain relief</a> and a reduction in inflammation and sensitivity. <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/ProductInfo.aspx?arch-pro-tec-support&amp;number=17-810">Pro
Tech orthotics</a> achieve upward compression to the arch of the foot similar to taping
techniques.  This ensures support is present when the foot is on the ground but
also when it is elevated between steps.  <br /><br /><b>The Pros and Cons of Custom Made Orthotics</b><br /><br />
Custom orthotics can work for some people and many custom orthotics are excellent
products sold by reputable companies or doctors.  However some custom orthotics
quickly fall apart when used for only a few months.  Since custom made orthotics
often cost between $200 and $500 be sure you have investigated the company or doctor
making them. Conduct your own quality control. Find out how they will measure and
make an impression of your foot shape and ask them how long the orthotics are guaranteed
for.  Request testimonials and, if possible, speak with other patients and buyers
about their experience.
<br /><br /><b>Explore, Research and Ask Questions to Achieve Natural Pain Relief </b><br />
    <br /><a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Search.aspx?searchfield=powerstep&amp;x=0&amp;y=0">Foot,
neck, knee and lower back pain relief</a> is possible without surgery or medication
but in order to achieve pain relief naturally you must educate yourself about your
holistic health options.  Use the Internet and read product reviews and consumer
reports. Research other people’s experiences with the particular foot problems you
have and consider new perspectives other than your own. Once you have decided on a
product find out everything you can about the orthotics’ performance. Ask detailed
questions of any doctor or company selling you orthotics. Any company or orthotics
manufacturer that will not discuss details about the production or performance of
the orthotics may not be trustworthy.<br /><br /><p></p><img width="0" height="0" src="http://www.bannertherapy.com/blog/blog/aggbug.ashx?id=ab0feb2b-163a-4a7a-b056-1023a69eb841" /><br /><hr />

<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">In 2008 there have been a number of controversies
surrounding all natural and organic nonfood products, even a lawsuit between the state
of California and companies selling products that tested highest for a known carcinogen:
1,4-Dioxane. According to the Organic Consumers Association Whole Foods Market California,
Avalon Natural Products, Beaumont Products, Nutribiotic and other manufacturers have
been implicated.
<br />
 <br />
In the July 7, 2008 article entitled “USDA to define ‘natural’ personal care products”
published by the Sacramento Bee newspaper writer Jane Liaw reports, “At the national
level, the U.S. Department of Agriculture is working on a definition of ‘natural products’
to be used in future standards, said USDA National Organic Program spokesman Billy
Cox. It does not certify natural products. The department's National Organic Program
certifies organically produced cosmetics and body care products but on a voluntary
basis.”
<br /><br />
Many consumers and companies producing organic skin care, beauty and household products
believe stricter requirements for organic nonfood items such as <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Search.aspx?searchfield=organic+bath+%26+body&amp;x=0&amp;y=0">organic
skin care products</a>, cosmetics and personal hygiene merchandise will motivate organic
manufacturers to achieve and maintain higher standards<br />

Green Beauty and Organic Skin Care Products: Protect the Environment and the Future</b><br /><br />
The United States government created the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) with
a mission to protect human health and the environment.  According to research
by the EPA Pharmaceuticals and Personal Care Products (PPCP’s) cause thousands of
toxic, chemical substances to act as pollutants in our environment. PPCP’s can be
found in prescription and over the counter drugs, veterinary drugs, fragrances, cosmetics
and personal care products.<br /><br />
“The importance of individuals adding chemicals to the environment has been largely
overlooked. The discovery of PPCP’s in water and soil shows even simple activities
like shaving, using lotion, or taking medication affect the environment in which you
live,” states the EPA.gov web site. “The number of PPCP’s is growing. In addition
to antibiotics and steroids, over 100 individual PPCP’s have been identified (as of
2007) in environmental samples and drinking water.”<br /><br />
When you buy <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Search.aspx?searchfield=organic+bath+%26+body&amp;x=0&amp;y=0">organic
skin care products</a>, nontoxic personal hygiene items and eco-friendly beauty products
you help protect your body from harmful chemicals and the environment from pollution.
 <br />
 <br /><div align="center"><img src="http://www.bannertherapy.com/images/backs/backmain4.jpg" height="239" width="334" /><br /></div><br /><b>Eco-Friendly, Organic Skin Care Products Can Protect You and Your Family</b><br /><br />
On February 4, 2008 the Environmental Working Group (EWG), a non-profit organization
focused on public health and the environment, issued a statement entitled “Study Shows
Infants Exposed to Reproductive Toxins from Shampoo, Lotion and Powder.” The release
stated that, “An EWG study found that personal care products expose children to an
average of 60 chemicals every day that they can breathe in or that absorb through
their skin. EWG product testing, conducted in partnership with Health Care Without
Harm and other members of the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics, showed phthalates in three-quarters
of 72 name-brand products tested. Because federal law contains no safety standard
for cosmetics, it is legal for companies to use ingredients that are reproductive
toxins like phthalates, carcinogens, and other potentially harmful substances.”
 <br /><br />
According to the EWG Cosmetic Safety Database, “Most people use these products without
a second thought, and believe that the government must certainly be policing the safety
of the mixtures in these myriad containers. But they are wrong about this. The government
does not require health studies or pre-market testing for these products before they
are sold.” “And as people apply an average of 126 unique ingredients on their skin
daily,” the EWG web site continues, “these chemicals, whether they seep through the
skin, rinse down the drain, or flush down the toilet in human excretions, are causing
concerns for human health, and for the impacts they may have to wildlife, rivers and
streams.”<br /><br />
Although we still do not know for certain the long term affects these PPCP’s and chemical
ingredients have on humans minimizing your exposure to them will support your overall
health.  Children are especially sensitive since their bodies are still growing,
maturing and developing. Eating organic foods keeps dangerous pesticides and insecticides
out of your family’s diet, while organic skin care and body products keep harsh chemicals
away from the skin and reduce pollution in the ground and water.
<br /><b><br /></b><b><img src="http://www.bannertherapy.com/images/backs/backmain12.jpg" height="230" width="323" /></b><br /><b><br />
Green Living with Organic Skin Care Products</b><br /><br />
Living an environmentally friendly and healthy lifestyle is something all people should
strive for, especially if we are going to preserve a stable world for future generations.
Don’t simply trust advertising and commercials, read product labels and educate yourself
about natural and synthetic ingredients.  Choose eco-friendly personal care and <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Search.aspx?searchfield=organic+bath+%26+body&amp;x=0&amp;y=0">organic
skin care products</a> wisely.  <br /><br /><p></p><img width="0" height="0" src="http://www.bannertherapy.com/blog/blog/aggbug.ashx?id=ee59eee1-f9b2-4268-932c-f25838cd7c13" /><br /><hr />

Massage and Spa Collection<br /><br /></b>    Tom Maroney, the owner and founder of <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/">Banner
Therapy</a>, has been keeping massage therapists and individual customers from around
the world well stocked in massage oils, lotions, and creams for over 10 years.
Maroney has built a strong following online by providing a vast array of natural and
organic massage therapy oils at prices that spas, massage schools, massage therapists
and alternative health practitioners love!  Massage therapists, spa owners and
bodyworkers in over 40 countries have become reliant upon Banner Therapy for the best
prices on the highest quality massage oil products in the industry.
<br /><br />
“Massage therapists work hard and there are many details to consider
when working in this field whether you work at a spa, resort, health &amp; wellness
center or individually,” says Maroney. “They must maintain practice space, launder
linens and towels, and keep a well stocked supply of massage oils, lotions, and creams
on hand.”  In the last few years organic massage therapy oils and other massage
creams and lotions made with natural ingredients have become the norm.  Many
people suffer from allergies and sensitivities to chemicals found in various products

Therapy’s Organic Bath &amp; Body Spa and Massage Collection</a>. These exceptional <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Search.aspx?searchfield=organic+bath+%26+body&amp;x=0&amp;y=0">organic
skin care products</a> include organic massage therapy oil, massage cream, massage
lotion, body butter, masques and skin treatments.   These organic skin care
products contain no harsh preservatives and are superior to many organic massage therapy
oils on the market.  The Organic Bath &amp; Body Spa and Massage Collection has
already been <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/blog/blog/2008/08/04/WhenToApplyMassageOilLotionOrCreamDuringAMassageTherapySession.aspx">extolled
by massage therapists in Asheville</a> and in other areas around the world.
 <br /><b><br />
Why Organics Matter? Banner Therapy Believes You Deserve the Best!    </b><br /><br /><img src="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Pic/ORGANIC_MUSCLE_CALM.JPG" /><br /><br />
Another reason owner Tom Maroney chose to develop this line of
organic massage therapy oils, creams, lotions, body treatments and spa products for
massage therapists is because organic skin care products are more beneficial for the
body. It is well documented that the skin is the largest absorbent organ. If products
placed on the skin contain harsh preservatives or chemicals the body absorbs them
and this can cause a wide variety of problems into the future. Instead, with organic
skin care products the body is filled with nutritional, natural substances. Using
ingredients such as organic flax, hemp seed, and safflower oil, as well as organic
rosehip seed oil and Vitamin E in the <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/ProductInfo.aspx?organic-bath-and-body-organic-massage-oil&amp;number=06-120">organic
massage therapy oil</a>, ensures that clients will not only feel healthier, but be
administered good ‘skin nutrition’ with the treatment.   The Organíc Bath
&amp; Body Massage and Spa Collection of <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Search.aspx?searchfield=organic+massage+oil&amp;x=17&amp;y=9">massage
oils, lotions and creams</a> facilitates a healthy, relaxing and rejuvenating experience.

      <div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">The ever-increasing demand for spas that
provide health maintenance in addition to relaxation and beauty services has changed
the way spas do business.  Many spa visitors are not just looking to be pampered.
They want healthy living, fitness, personal growth, eco friendly, natural pain relief,
weight loss, organic skin care programs and more.  This shift is creating some
fascinating new spa therapy trends that indicate consumer choice is a high priority.
In today’s market spa-goers want superior quality equipment, educated service providers
with the highest credentials and a gorgeous location with a luxurious, comfortable
atmosphere. Creativity, innovation and a commitment to excellence are the keys to
starting and operating a successful spa.
<br /><br /><a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Search.aspx?searchfield=organic+bath+%26+body&amp;x=0&amp;y=0"><b>Organic
Skin Care Products and Organic Massage Therapy Oils, Creams and Lotions</b></a><br />
Around the world people are thinking more about the <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/skin-care-spa-therapy.aspx">beauty
and skin care products</a> they put on and in their bodies.  Successful spas
must think not only about the quality of their estheticians, massage therapists and
other staff, but also about the quality of the products they use. <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/body-treatments-spa-therapy.aspx">Organic
skin care treatments</a>, such as organic body wraps, facials, footbaths and more
are in high demand.  <br /><br />
Massage therapists are also now using <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/oils-lotions-creams-massage-therapy.aspx">organic
massage therapy oils, creams, lotions and muscle rubs</a> made with organic ingredients
such as natural healing herbs and therapeutic essential oils. According to the HealingLifestyles.com
article “Spa Trends 2008 The Evolved Spa” by writer Margie Goldsmith, Tracy Lee, vice
president of spa development for Auberge Resorts says, “Spas are positioning themselves
with more green products, and many skincare companies are getting rid of paraffins
and sulfites. Today’s savvy spa consumer does not blindly accept the label, ‘all natural.’
A product needs to be greener, more pure, and must provide more proof.”

<br /><b>Spa Equipment and Commercial Fitness Equipment created for Wellness</b><br />
In 2008 spa visitors don’t just want to look better, they want to feel healthier.
Exercise equipment has long been a part of the spa experience but the kind of equipment
spa-goers will find has changed.  In addition to the traditional treadmills,
exercise bikes and weight training equipment spas now provide fitness alternatives
such as <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Products.aspx?vibration-therapy-exercise-equipment&amp;dept=1080200">vibration
therapy machines like the Power Plate</a> and <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Products.aspx?aquatic-physical-therapy-equipment-exercise-equipment&amp;dept=1080300">aquatic
therapy equipment</a>.  Spas are also offering <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Products.aspx?hydrotherapy-tables-spa-tables-chairs-spa-therapy&amp;dept=1041606">hydrotherapy
tables</a>, hydrokinetic showers, <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/ProductInfo.aspx?skin-scanner&amp;number=96-427">skin
scanners</a>, <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Products.aspx?lamps-steamers-spa-equipment-spa-therapy&amp;dept=1040610">infared
mineral lights</a>, biofeedback machines, low level cold lasers and other <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/spa-equipment-spa-therapy.aspx">spa
equipment</a> that promotes natural healing.
<br /><br /><div align="center"><img src="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Pic/POWERPLATEPRO5.JPG" /><br /></div><br /><b>Natural Healing Herbs and Holistic Health Supplements for Detox and Natural Weight
Loss </b><br />
Many people visiting spas each year now understand the importance and benefits of
an annual body cleanse.  Detoxification has become a standard in the spa industry
to improve health and achieve <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Products.aspx?weight-loss-nutrition-weight-loss&amp;dept=1090200">natural
weight loss</a>.  In addition to traditional cleansing massages and detoxifying
skin treatments spas now provide visitors with access to <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Products.aspx?nutritional-products-nutrition-weight-loss&amp;dept=1090100">holistic
health supplements</a>, <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Products.aspx?nutritional-products-nutrition-weight-loss&amp;dept=1090100">nutritional
organic vitamins</a> and <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Products.aspx?nutritional-products-nutrition-weight-loss&amp;dept=1090100">natural
healing herbs</a>.  It is essential that spa owners and professionals confirm
the credibility and integrity of any <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Products.aspx?weight-loss-nutrition-weight-loss&amp;dept=1090200">detox
and natural weight loss</a> products they suggest to ensure safety for all spa-goers.

<br /></div><br /><b>Customized Spa Treatments</b><br />
In 2008 spa owners are seeing an increase in the demand for customized spa services.
According to the International Spa Association ISPA “customized relaxation” is in.
“You can make almost anything your ‘own’ today from custom workouts built into your
Nikes, fragrances blended to suit your nose or a zenned-out playlist on your iPod,”
states ISPA,  “Spas are creating unique experiences for their guests as well
with 24 percent indicating that clients can book blocks of time instead of specific
services. This time block allows them to create a treatment that is all their own
from the music to the products to the room temperature.”<br /><br /><b>Spa Luxury and the Comforts of Home</b><br />
In her article “Spa Trends 2008 The Evolved Spa”, HealingLifestyles.com journalist
Margie Goldsmith writes, “Guests used to come to a spa once or perhaps twice a year.
Now, owners and renters are living the spa experience on a daily basis. Other lifestyle
aspects are now being incorporated such as nutrition, sleeping well, retirement, and
how you use your leisure time—things beyond treatments and fitness.”  <br /><br />
Sylvia Sepielli, a conceptual spa designer states, “There’s a movement towards integrating
more health aspects within the spa experience, and the term ‘spa’ has been branching
out to include more than just fitness and therapies.  We’re seeing more mixed-use
property, resorts with home-stay components, and a big part of that is the spa/lifestyle
component.” Goldsmith also mentions an increase in Girlfriend Getaways and Mother
Daughter spa trips. As women begin traveling together more the residential living
aspects such as full kitchens, in room yoga and fitness supplies, in room spa showers
and tubs and access to wireless Internet will continue to become more popular.

      <div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
<b>The Beginning of Organic Blessings Certified
Organic Skin Care Products</b>
        <br />
When Mark and Christine, the creators and owners of <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Search.aspx?searchfield=organic+blessings&amp;x=0&amp;y=0">Organic
Blessings</a>, had their beautiful baby girl Rebekah they were thrilled.  Like
all parents Rebekah’s health, growth and development became their top priority and
chemicals used in most bath and body products, even products geared towards infants,
became a major concern.  Mark and Christine searched for all natural, chemical
free shampoos, soaps and lotions that would safeguard and nourish the skin of their
little angel, but after looking for some time they still could not find products that
were truly chemical free. Fueled and inspired by their own desire to protect their
daughter from harmful synthetic fragrances and petrochemicals, Mark and Christine
began to educate themselves about organic skincare products; they were surprised by
what they found.
<br /><br /><img src="http://www.organic-blessings.com/images/family2.jpg" /><br /><br /><b>The Difference Between Natural, Organic and Certified Organic Skin Care Products</b><br />
On the market today there are three different kinds of skin care products available
for people worried about their exposure to chemicals and toxins: all natural, organic
and Certified Organic.  The terms natural and organic are not often clearly defined
for consumers and there are no requirements for use of these terms.  “Natural”
or “Organic” products may have some natural and organic ingredients, however, this
does not mean that they are free of all artificial preservatives, chemicals, fragrances
or dyes.  Only the USDA (US Department of Agriculture) certification seal ensures
the quality of the ingredients and guarantees the product you are buying is truly
organic.  The term “Certified Organic” is governed by strict NOP (National Organic
Program) requirements and the USDA Certified Organic seal supports truth in labeling. <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Search.aspx?searchfield=organic+blessings&amp;x=0&amp;y=0">Certified
Organic skin care products</a> provide assurance that the ingredients are not genetically
modified or engineered. All Certified Organic ingredients are grown and processed
without harsh chemical pesticides and processing aids, delivering the healing benefits
of nature in their purest form.<br /><br /><div align="center"><img src="http://www.organic-blessings.com/images/logo.gif" height="144" width="444" /><br /></div><br /><b>The First Certified Organic Skin Care Products Made For Children</b><br />
After learning as much as they could about organic skin care products Mark and Christine
decided to begin developing <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Search.aspx?searchfield=organic+blessings&amp;x=0&amp;y=0">Certified
Organic skincare products</a> specifically formulated with infants in mind and with
the help of a knowledgeable and experienced chemist <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Search.aspx?searchfield=organic+blessings&amp;x=0&amp;y=0">Organic
Blessings</a> was born!  <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Search.aspx?searchfield=organic+blessings&amp;x=0&amp;y=0">Organic

and they are an excellent choice for any parent concerned with their baby’s exposure
to harsh chemicals and preservatives at an early age.   <br /><br /><b>USDA Certified Organic Skin Care Products Your Kids Will Love!</b><br />

fabric that is easy to maintain. The result is carefully crafted line of massage tools
that are superior to many of the massage tables already on the market. Silhouet-Tone
has also produced a line of massage tools that complement the massage table such as <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/ProductInfo.aspx?soma-bora-bora-t-70-service-table-by-silhouet-tone&amp;number=59-202">service

<br /><br /><b>Silhouet-Tone’s Massage Tables: Defining Excellence in Massage Tools</b><br />
With Silhouet-Tone wooden spa tables beginning at around $1,500 these <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/ProductInfo.aspx?soma-bora-bora-wooden-table-by-silhouet-tone&amp;number=59-200">massage
tables</a> might seem a bit pricey at first glance. A closer look at the Canadian
company that produces this unique line of massage tables reveals that the craftsmanship
and long-term durability of this product, designed for the professional massage therapist’s
office, are great reasons to give <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/ProductInfo.aspx?soma-bora-bora-wooden-table-by-silhouet-tone&amp;number=59-200">Silhouet-Tone</a> a
second thought. Massage therapists in the business for the long term may do well to
consider a Silhouet-Tone table as a sound investment in a massage therapy practice,
that will pay off and perform for years to come.  Every massage therapist must
consider investing in the best tools available.  Some massage therapists even
invest in several tables, yet one <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/ProductInfo.aspx?soma-bora-bora-wooden-table-by-silhouet-tone&amp;number=59-200">massage
therapy table</a> built to endure could replace these multiple purchases.  <br /><br /><b>Compare Massage Tables</b><br />
Many of these lower priced massage tables may be more economical.  For example,
a decent massage table may cost between <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/ProductInfo.aspx?oakworks-alliance-wood-massage-table&amp;number=60-802">$500</a> to <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/ProductInfo.aspx?feldenkrais-massage-table-package-from-custom-craftworks&amp;number=60-812">$800</a> and
come with many extras such as a carrying case or other accessories. But chances are
good that although the massage table is suitable it will not be as solidly constructed,
or made completely from real wood, or have the same ¾” thickness as Silhouet-Tone’s
tables. There is no particle board used in Silhouet-Tone’s wooden massage table line,
only First Pine Select Hardwood.  Many economical massage tables rely upon particle
board or other wood composites for basic construction, but not Silhouet-Tone.  <br /><br /><div align="center"><img src="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Pic/SOMA_BORA_BORA.JPG" height="310" width="310" /><br /></div><br /><b>Leatherlike Exterior is Easy to Maintain With Silhouet-Tone Massage Tables</b><br />
Another positive point about the Silhouet-tone massage tables is that the “Atmosphere
and Dundee” leatherlike fabrics used are hand made, soft, and fire resistant. The
massage tables are therefore easy to clean and maintain, and durable at the same time.

Winner of the 2007 American Spa Professional’s Choice Awards in the Favorite Equipment
Manufacturer category, <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Search.aspx?searchfield=silhouet-tone&amp;x=0&amp;y=0">Silhouet-Tone</a> is
already well on the way to creating distinguished products in the massage table market.
Silhouet-Tone is also a well-known name for producing spa tables and spa accessories
and other equipment for the medical and related professions.  <br /><br />
Investigate <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Search.aspx?searchfield=silhouet-tone&amp;x=0&amp;y=0">Silhouet-Tone’s
wooden spa furniture</a> line or other equipment for a fuller understanding of how
the company defines true quality. One’s massage practice need not be opulent. Practicality
combined with good taste is a wonderful approach to creating a functional and elegant
massage practice room. Designing a massage therapy room that is comfortable and easy
to use is key to retaining massage clients, so quality tools are worth the investment.

<br /><b>Why do massage therapists choose to use <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Search.aspx?searchfield=massage+oils&amp;x=36&amp;y=11">massage
oil</a>, rather than massage creams and lotions?</b><br />
The first issue of choice is the preference of the client. Some people actually prefer <a temp_href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Search.aspx?searchfield=massage+lotion&amp;x=15&amp;y=16 " href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Search.aspx?searchfield=massage+lotion&amp;x=15&amp;y=16%20">massage
lotion</a> because they don’t make the body feel greasy.  I tend to choose <a temp_href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Search.aspx?searchfield=massage+oil&amp;x=19&amp;y=13 " href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Search.aspx?searchfield=massage+oil&amp;x=19&amp;y=13%20%20">massage
oil </a>more often. When I want to do deeper work, oils work better for me.
When I do deep tissue massage, I use less oil, because I can use more grip and get
down into deeper layers of tissue.  <br /><div align="center"><img src="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Pic/ORGANICS_ORGANICS_OIL.JPG" height="165" width="165" /><br /></div><b>How do you decide upon how much massage oil to use?</b><br />
It doesn’t matter if it’s massage oil, lotion, or cream.  The quantity of the
substance you use has an impact. If I’m performing a Swedish, rather than a deep tissue
massage, I use plenty of massage oil, and I’m generous with it. Lots of massage oil
helps with the long, sleek, even strokes.  <br /><br /><b>What about massage creams?  When is it necessary to use them?</b><br />
Often I will use a <a temp_href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Search.aspx?searchfield=massage+creams&amp;x=31&amp;y=13 " href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Search.aspx?searchfield=massage+creams&amp;x=31&amp;y=13%20">massage
cream</a> on a client who has had an injury or muscle spasms.  Creams contain
ingredients that are particularly stimulating for an area of healing. There are some
fantastic massage creams.  In fact, Banner Therapy has just come out with a new <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/ProductInfo.aspx?organic-bath-and-body-organic-massage-and-body-cream&amp;number=06-119">Organic
Bath &amp; Body Massage and Body Cream </a>that I love to use.
<br /><img src="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Pic/ORGANICS_RESTRUCTURING_CREAM.JPG" height="184" width="184" /><br /><b>What special massage creams facilitate the relief of muscle pain or spasms?</b><br />
Banner Therapy has a <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/ProductInfo.aspx?organic-bath-and-body-therapeutic-herbal-muscle-calm&amp;number=06-124">Therapeutic
Herbal Muscle Calm cream</a> that is part of their organic skincare products.
This is a muscle mending lotion with essential oils and Capsicum, which is the heat-producing
ingredient.  In terms of really getting down into deep muscle and stimulating
healing the Therapeutic Herbal Muscle Cream is pretty potent.<br /><div align="center"><b><img src="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Pic/ORGANIC_MUSCLE_CALM.JPG" height="175" width="175" /></b><br /></div><b>What about other types of creams can you use in massage therapy?</b><br />
I use some of the new creams. They have different textures, and I find they work well.
Some massage therapy creams are designed for general use in massage and provide a
pleasant experience for my clients.  One main issue with massage creams is that
one person’s skin may react very differently than another person’s skin. I am careful
to select a <a temp_href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Search.aspx?searchfield=massage+cream&amp;x=0&amp;y=0 " href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Search.aspx?searchfield=massage+cream&amp;x=0&amp;y=0%20%20">massage
cream</a> when I know it will work well for that particular individual and their skin
type.
<br /><br />
Another cream I like is an all-purpose cream I use in a variety of massage situations: <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/ProductInfo.aspx?new-soothing-touch-versa-creme&amp;number=06-557">Soothing
Touch Versa Cream</a>.  It’s parabin free and for a simple general massage (as
opposed to major deep tissue) this cream is nice for going a little deeper. It is
slippery enough that I don’t get stuck. It allows for a glide that gives more fluidity.
When I want to I can go deeper with the Soothing Touch massage cream.  <br /><img src="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Pic/SOOTHING-TOUCH-VERSA-CREME.JPG" height="163" width="163" /><br /><b>What types of massage techniques would be improved with the use a massage lotion?</b><br /><a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Search.aspx?searchfield=massage+lotion&amp;x=27&amp;y=9">Massage
lotions</a> are a great tool for use in deep tissue massage. Interestingly enough,
some of the lotions are better than the creams.  They tend to be absorbed more
easily and are less slippery than creams. When the <a temp_href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Search.aspx?searchfield=massage+lotions&amp;x=31&amp;y=15 " href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Search.aspx?searchfield=massage+lotions&amp;x=31&amp;y=15%20">massage
lotion</a> is absorbed it leaves a little more grab for deeper massage work. So, many
massage therapists will opt for a good lotion over a cream for deep tissue work, if
they do not use oil for this.<br /><br /><b>Are there any other types of massage oils, lotions, or creams you incorporate into
your therapeutic, sports, or relaxation massages?</b><br />
I do prefer to use special skin products just for feet when I work on a client’s feet.
Usually natural and organic skincare products are made to work well on the body, but
it takes a specially made cream to work well on the feet.  I tend to choose foot
cream with a peppermint or tea tree oil scent. Tea tree oil is good for fungus. Banner
stocks a great product, the <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/ProductInfo.aspx?-herbal-select-foot-lotion&amp;number=06-270">Biotone
Herbal Select Foot Lotion</a>. It not only works well for massaging feet, it softens
the feet and feels stimulating and refreshing.  <br /><div align="center"><img src="../../images/backs/backmain11.jpg" height="146" width="205" /><br /></div><b>What’s the best approach for a massage therapist to take when considering which
massage oil, lotion, or cream is best?</b><br />
I suggest you try new things, and see what works best for you and your client base.
It’s very good to have some diversity in <a temp_href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Search.aspx?searchfield=massage+oils&amp;x=21&amp;y=12 " href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Search.aspx?searchfield=massage+oils&amp;x=21&amp;y=12%20">massage
oils, lotions, and creams</a> on hand for use on different areas of the body and for
various massage techniques.  <br /><br /><br /><p></p><img width="0" height="0" src="http://www.bannertherapy.com/blog/blog/aggbug.ashx?id=54a555ac-3652-426d-8163-eee0d14c7790" /><br /><hr />

    <content type="xhtml">
<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">    One of the most exciting
things happening now in the heath care and wellness field is the concept of Wellness
or Medical Nutritional Centers within Medical and Health Care Practices. Wellness
Center owners can generate substantial additional income from the body composition
analysis <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/ProductInfo.aspx?bio-analogics-hms-with-elg-iii-metabolic-analyzer&amp;number=71-025">ELG
III </a>and product sales. Patients are weighed and measured, given a body composition
analysis and questionaire. Based on the results, the patient receives a recommendation
for a nutritional program designed to address their health needs. The concept is simple
and proven; increase nutrition, decrease calories, great taste, simple to prepare,
hunger is sated for 3 to 4 hours.
<br /><br /><img src="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Pic/ELGIII-METABOLIC-ANALYZER.JPG" height="140" width="158" /><br /><br /><b><a href="http://www.nutritionclubs.net">Nutrition Clubs</a> and Healthy Weight
Loss Solutions</b><br />

<br />
These can also be implemented as stand alone commercial centers
called *Nutrition Clubs*. <a href="http://www.nutritionclubs.net">Nutrition club</a> owners
generate income from individual shake and beverage sales, as well as closed product
sales. The concept is based on proven nutritional science and recent studies at *Johns
Hopkins, Harvard and UCLA Medical* schools. The foundation is the concept of high
quality and delicious meal replacement shakes, combined with targeted products, healthy
meal and snack choices, as well as exercise. Not to be confused with Grocery store
offerings or Mega Protein muscle shakes found in gyms and malls, these meal replacements
can be used to reduce fat, increase lean mass and improve metabolic abnormalities
commonly associated with overweight and obese persons by providing complete nutrition
and a targeted amount of protein based on the individuals body composition, in a low
calorie great tasting meal shake.<br /><br />
All of the above mentioned studies showed two to three times greater <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/ProductInfo.aspx?bio-analogics-hms-with-elg-iii-metabolic-analyzer&amp;number=71-025">weight
loss</a>, faster yet <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/ProductInfo.aspx?bio-analogics-hms-with-elg-iii-metabolic-analyzer&amp;number=71-025">healthy
weight loss</a>, greater long term compliance and satiety, and less expense to the
dieter than traditional diets. A white paper reviewing these studies is available
by request.<br /><br />
One particular study published by the <i>American Journal of Clinical
Nutrition</i> from studies at University Hospital in Ulm, Germany showed even better
results with a group of 100 obese patients. Half of the group followed a self selected
diet of 1200 to 1500 calories per day, which included 3 meals and two snacks. the
other half followed a similar self selected diet, but replaced two of their three
meals with meal replacement shakes.<br /><br /><b>After three months, the people on the self selected diet lost an average of 2.9
pounds, while the people on the meal replacement program lost an average of 15.6 pounds!</b><br /><br />
In a health care practitioners' office, a patient has the benefit
of more precise monitoring, and the confidence associated with with being treated
by their professional health care provider, who may also be able to recommend or provide
other services, blood work, or even prescriptions in the short term if needed. However,
the goal is to address the patients issues first and foremost with proper and balanced
nutrition. The concept is simple and elegant; if the body receives what it needs from
a standpoint of nutrition, hydration and exercise, the body will most often care for
itself.<br /><br />
In the Nutrition Club model, the concept is a commercial or public
offering and is essentially a cross between a Weight Watchers, a Smoothie King, and
Starbucks Cafe. Think of it as a Wellness Center with the friendly ambience of your
favorite cafe disguised as a smoothie shop. Clients drop in, receive an initial wellness
evaluation, and follow ups for weight, body comp and measurements. The key is great
tasting smoothies and convenience with proven results. Clubs feature 40 flavors of
incredible shakes that are true meal replacements. People cannot believe that they
will actually lose weight and improve health with these because they taste as good
as the sugar and calorie laden smoothies found in malls. Yet a typical client will
find that in only two to three days, they have more energy and their pants fit differently.
Three great tasting beverages quickly improve the common complaints of weight, energy
and digestive issues, and targeted products combined with smart food choices offer
major support for many other of the common health concerns that confront us these
days.<br /><br />
    <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/">Banner Therapy</a> offers
implementation and support for both concepts; professionals wanting to implement a
Wellness or Medical Nutritional Center and the aspiring business owner interested
in helping people with their health. In both models, the end result is a healthier
community. For the Wellness Professional, that means additional healthy profits as
well. For the entrepreneur that had considered opening a healthy cafe or restuarant
or even buying a Smoothie King or LA Weight Loss Franchise, you may seriously want
to consider the Nutrition Club Concept. The entry price is far more attractive, the
model is well-proven, duplicatable, and profitability is typically reached in months,
not years.<br /><p></p><img width="0" height="0" src="http://www.bannertherapy.com/blog/blog/aggbug.ashx?id=e29632b2-f3fe-4cc2-aee6-41ea3347ce5f" /><br /><hr />

L’Athene is a pure and natural skin care line that is unique both
in the quality of ingredients and the extensive development process completed to create
the various natural skin care products included in the line.  Nan Brown and Lil
Bogdan were nurses who consulted on burns and severe skin conditions in leading hospitals
like Johns Hopkins. After years of treating the worst skin conditions and studying
both clinical and holistic healing treatments they agreed that successful natural
skin care products had to contain the purest, most potent, nutrient rich natural ingredients.
In order to insure the quality of the L’Athene products Nan and Lil met with leading
aromatherapy experts, organic chemists and top nutritionists. The end result was L’Athene
Pure and Natural Skin Care products, made with the finest natural ingredients and
active plant nutrients.      <br /><b><a temp_href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/ProductInfo.aspx?l'athene-antioxidant-nutrient-serum-(vitapure)&amp;number=03-231 " href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/ProductInfo.aspx?l%27athene-antioxidant-nutrient-serum-%28vitapure%29&amp;number=03-231%20"><br />

<i>This interview was conducted in the Banner
Therapy showroom with Maggie Weaver, the Director of Spa and Massage Sales. Maggie
sees a large number of massage therapists per day coming through the showroom in Asheville.
There are several reasons for this. The most prominent is that Banner Therapy offers
the best selection of massage oils in town -- at wholesale prices.  Massage therapists
can count on Banner Therapy for all massage tools. Massage oils are the number one
consumable in massage therapy practices.  This interview examines some of the
subtle differences between the organic massage oils, natural massage oils, and aromatherapy
massage oils regularly in stock at Banner Therapy, and through <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com">www.BannerTherapy.com</a>.

          <br />
When a massage therapist visits the Banner Therapy Showroom, and insists upon <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Search.aspx?searchfield=organic+bath+&amp;x=0&amp;y=0">organic
massage therapy oils</a>, where do you steer them?  </b>
        <br />
Currently, I send massage therapists in need of this type of oil to the new <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Search.aspx?searchfield=organic+bath+&amp;x=0&amp;y=0">Organic
Bath and Body line</a>.  First of all:  it’s awesome massage oil. Second:
the price point is extremely good.  Massage therapists are thrifty, and are always
willing to try something new.  The Organic Bath and Body line has a super organic
massage oil made from all natural ingredients.  <b><br /><br />
Are there other lines of organic massage oils you would recommend?</b><br /><a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Search.aspx?searchfield=lotus+touch&amp;x=0&amp;y=0">Lotus
Touch</a> has a line of <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Search.aspx?searchfield=lotus+touch&amp;x=0&amp;y=0">organic
massage oils, lotions and creams</a>.  This line costs between $10-20 more per
gallon.  <br /><b><br /></b><div align="center"><b><img src="http://www.bannertherapy.com/images/backs/backmain7.jpg" height="239" width="336" /></b><br /></div><b><br />
What natural massage oils does Banner Therapy carry?</b><br /><a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Search.aspx?searchfield=bon+vital&amp;x=0&amp;y=0">Bon
Vital Naturale Massage Oil</a> is an excellent product.  It’s a <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Search.aspx?searchfield=bon+vital&amp;x=0&amp;y=0">natural
massage oil, lotion and cream</a> line with an organic preservative.  Bon Vital
and the Organic Bath and Body line are comparable in price and quality. The only difference
is one is organic and the other is natural.    <br /><br /><b>Do some massage therapists prefer to use scentless massage therapy oil? If so,
why?</b><br />
Yes. Their clients may prefer this due to ‘scent issues.’ There’s really not much
of a price difference on most massage oils that are unscented.  <br /><br /><b>If a massage therapist chooses to use <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Products.aspx?aromatherapy-alternative-therapy&amp;dept=1071000">aromatherapy
massage oils</a>, what are the most popular choices in scents?</b><br />
Lavender and chamomile are the top scents in massage oils.  If it’s a sports
or therapeutic massage, then it may be scented with eucalyptus, spearmint, or menthol.
These scents are especially relaxing for aching muscles.  <br /><br /><div align="center"><img src="http://www.bannertherapy.com/images/backs/backmain2.jpg" height="218" width="306" /><br /></div><br /><b>Does Banner Therapy also carry essential oils to add to unscented massage oils?</b><br />
Yes. We have a full line of <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Products.aspx?aromatherapy-alternative-therapy&amp;dept=1071000">essential
oils</a>. They are priced very competitively.  We offer a bigger jar of essential
oil for less than most retailers.  Most essential oils are packaged in .25 ounce
and we carry them in .5 ounce jars.  <br /><br /><b>What is the best way for a massage therapist to save money on organic or natural
massage oils?  </b><br />
Buy them when they’re on sale.  Right now we have the <a href="http://www.bannertherapy.com/Search.aspx?searchfield=organic+bath+&amp;x=0&amp;y=0">Organic
Bath and Body line </a>on sale for 15% off.  The Bon Vital line is also on sale
for 15% off.  Massage therapists should buy in the gallon quantity to save money.
There are also some massage oils that are available in five gallons.  For the
purchase of five gallon containers of massage oil, the savings is equivalent to one
free gallon if five are purchased, so it’s well worth it.  <br /><br /><p></p><img width="0" height="0" src="http://www.bannertherapy.com/blog/blog/aggbug.ashx?id=470bc9a0-ade5-4dc3-ac0f-385e93904579" /><br /><hr />
